# Myer savings guide: compare the basket, seller and payment

Myer cashback depends on its current category and conditions, not the department-store name alone. Check the item's seller and category, total delivered price and payment method. The Australian ShopBack listing excludes app orders, certain loyalty and points redemptions, gift cards and unsupported codes; returns can invalidate a tracked award.

## Separate departments and sellers in a mixed basket

Write down each item's price, product category, seller and delivery cost. Myer's ShopBack listing distinguishes departments and identifies entertainment and electrical products; candle and home fragrance products are classified under Home for cashback purposes. A mixed basket should not be valued at one assumed category rate.

A certain discount can be worthwhile even where it removes possible cashback.
