This calculator needs JavaScript. To compare by hand, add item price and delivery, then subtract confirmed discounts to get each checkout total. Treat any Cashback as a separate, later and uncertain amount.
How to compare two checkouts
Enter the total item price for each equivalent basket, including applicable taxes and mandatory fees, then delivery and only discounts you have confirmed at checkout. Use AUD throughout; this tool does not convert currencies. Do not subtract a sale reduction twice if it is already reflected in the item price. Include other mandatory charges in the item total, or the comparison will understate your payment.
Checkout payment = item price + delivery - confirmed discounts. The lower checkout payment determines the immediate-price comparison. If you choose to enter an estimated Cashback amount, estimated cost after Cashback = checkout payment - estimated Cashback. Only compare the two conditional costs when you have entered estimates for both options. If neither purchase earns Cashback, the checkout payments remain what you pay.
Enter amounts from 0 to 999999.99 with at most two decimal places, without currency symbols or commas. Discounts cannot exceed item price plus delivery. An estimate cannot exceed the checkout payment. The calculator rounds no user inputs: it calculates in whole cents. JavaScript enables the interactive comparison; the formula, example, exclusions and sources remain readable without it.
Hypothetical AUD example, not a current offer
Option A: AUD100.00 of items + AUD5.00 delivery - AUD10.00 confirmed discount = AUD95.00 paid at checkout. Option B: AUD98.00 of items + AUD0.00 delivery - AUD0.00 discount = AUD98.00 paid at checkout. Option A costs AUD3.00 less immediately.
If you separately assume AUD2.00 estimated Cashback for A and AUD6.00 for B, the conditional costs are AUD93.00 and AUD92.00. B would be AUD1.00 lower only if both estimates were awarded in full. Those invented estimates are not rates, verified offers or promises. The payments due today are still AUD95.00 and AUD98.00.
Check eligibility and exclusions before shopping
The tool cannot determine which items, taxes, delivery charges, fees, vouchers or payment methods qualify for Cashback. It does not check caps, category rates, code compatibility, account eligibility, tracking or confirmation. Read the current local ShopBack merchant terms before estimating anything; leave the estimate off when uncertain.
The linked THE ICONIC and Myer Australia pages provide local merchant conditions. A code accepted by checkout does not itself prove Cashback eligibility. Cancellations, returns or changed orders may change the eventual award. Compare product specifications, returns and delivery timing too: a cheaper total does not mean an equivalent purchase.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does the calculator fetch a live Cashback rate?
No. Any optional estimate is an amount you enter after checking current local terms. Cashback is not guaranteed and is never subtracted from the payment due at checkout.
Can I compare prices without JavaScript?
Yes. Apply the printed formula to each basket or follow the hypothetical example. The interactive form requires JavaScript, but the explanation, source links and Markdown version do not.
